My name is Hannah Boyl and I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist!
I began my education at Saginaw Valley State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. While my initial plan was to pursue a doctorate degree in physical therapy, my plans changed and I followed the path of becoming a dietitian. I finished Eastern Michigan University’s Master’s of dietetics program in August 2019.
Starting my pursuit of a degree in dietetics, I knew that I wanted to find a way to combine my knowledge in exercise science with nutrition. Conveniently enough, there’s a sports nutrition specialization within the field of dietetics and that’s where I’m headed next!
Throughout the years, I’ve taught a variety of group exercise classes and done a fair share of personal training. I have previously managed and coached in CrossFit gyms and been part of team and individual competitions across the country. My love for physical activity and training is a key piece of how I practice nutrition.
Now, I am lucky enough to work in my dream career as a sports dietitian. Not only do I run High Performing Human Nutrition, but I am also the Head of Nutrition at Houston Dynamo FC. Previously, I have worked in collegiate athletics at Houston Christian University and high school athletics in Spring Branch School District. I have given numerous sports nutrition lectures to high schools, undergraduate, and graduate classes, was featured on The Sports Medicine Broadcast podcast, interviewed for written articles, and appeared on Houston’s Fox 26 news. I continue to speak at various events including regional and national conferences. My goal is to continue to grow my experiences so that I may be a wealth of knowledge for my athletes.
